President Trump’s latest threats and statements were slammed as “bullying at a global level,” with Baghaei accusing both the US and Israel of recklessly steering the region toward chaos. He also rebuked Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz’s shocking comment that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei “cannot continue to exist”, calling it “despicable” and “outrageous.”


Threatening a state sovereign leader with an act of terror simply shows the nature of the Israeli regime,” Baghaei said, adding that Iran has acted with restraint so far by striking only military and security targets, in contrast to Israeli claims of civilian attacks.

Baghaei, who once served at Iran’s UN mission in New York, reiterated that Iran has always pushed for peaceful solutions — but its efforts, he stressed, have been repeatedly undermined.
