I Could Hear the Water Taking Over San Antonio Flood Horror Leaves 8 Dead 6 Still Missing
Families shattered as sudden pre-dawn flooding flips cars, traps drivers, and turns quiet streets into deadly rivers.
San Antonio, Texas — A quiet Thursday morning turned into unimaginable chaos in northeast San Antonio when raging floodwaters swept away cars, uprooted families, and left a trail of tragedy that the city is still counting.
At least eight lives have been lost and six people remain missing after fifteen vehicles were engulfed by rapidly rising water before dawn.
Photos from the disaster show cars flipped like toys, half-buried in brown floodwater that surged through familiar roads near Northeast Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel Road. Many residents awoke to sirens and heartbreaking phone calls that would become their last contact with loved ones.
Angela Richards still clings to hope — and the sound of her husband Stevie’s voice — as search teams comb the murky creeks where his car disappeared
I could hear whatever the car hit and then the water taking over the car. And that’s the last I heard Angela
recalled through tears. Her husband, a father of three, had phoned her moments before the flood

swallowed his car whole, drifting into a bayou as helpless dispatchers listened.
Search efforts are focused along Salado Creek and Leon Creek near Highway 90, where rescuers — including specialized teams from Texas A&M Task Force 1 — continue to comb the muddy banks and fast-moving currents.
San Antonio Fire Chief Valarie Frausto confirmed that ten people were pulled from trees after clinging for life on a small island formed by the flood. Two others managed to escape on their own, disappearing into the chaos without speaking to authorities. Police now urge any survivors who haven’t checked in to call and confirm they’re safe.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus described the scene as heartbreaking, with bodies recovered in scattered locations. In one case, a search dog found a victim swept a mile downstream.
These low-water crossings can be deceiving,” McManus warned. “Depth and speed make it impossible to
judge and by the time you realize it’s too late, it’s too late.
Meanwhile, rescue crews work alongside game wardens and homicide detectives, scouring flooded creeks, dense brush, and even homeless encampments near the waterways. Families gather by roadblocks and creek banks, praying for news that grows more grim by the hour.
The National Weather Service kept the region under flood watch Thursday night, warning that more rain could compound the devastation.
Back at her home, Angela Richards waits — torn between fear and a flicker of faith that Stevie might still come home.

Candace Owens Claims Macron Plotted Her Assassination, Says Show Taken Off-Air Amid Explosive Allegations
US commentator asserts White House received her report accusing French President Emmanuel Macron of orchestrating a murder plot, while legal battles with the Macrons intensify
US political commentator Candace Owens has sparked another wave of controversy after announcing that her show will not air this week, claiming she has received confirmation that French President Emmanuel Macron allegedly attempted to orchestrate her assassination. The claims, shared publicly on social media, have intensified an already growing storm surrounding Owens, who is currently facing a defamation lawsuit filed by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.
Owens posted an update on X (formerly Twitter), stating that both the White House and US counterterrorism agencies had “confirmed receipt” of her report, which allegedly ties the French President to a murder plot against her. She further repeated her unverified claims linking the September killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to French foreign legionnaires.
Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed while delivering a speech at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Owens has publicly suggested that his death was politically motivated and connected to France, though no official investigation has validated her accusations.
Owens doubles down on assassination claims
In her post, Owens wrote, “Our show will be off the air this week,” before adding that her allegations had reached the highest levels of government.
“As an update, both the White House and our counterterrorism agencies have confirmed receipt of what I reported publicly: Emmanuel Macron attempted to organize my assassination, per a source close to the first couple,” she stated.
Owens also suggested that the Macrons “were involved in Charlie Kirk’s assassination,” adding that they “did not act alone.”
She challenged skeptics, saying, “For all of you who doubted my claims, you can now look to the President of the United States and our intelligence communities to issue a statement to confirm whether I am telling the truth.”

No official comment has yet been issued by the White House or federal agencies regarding Owens’ assertions.
Legal battle with the Macrons intensifies
Owens’ statements come as she faces a high-profile lawsuit filed by the French President and First Lady. The lawsuit was prompted by Owens’ repeated claims that Brigitte Macron was born male and later transitioned, a rumor that has circulated online but has been repeatedly dismissed as false.
The lawsuit cites an eight-part series published by Owens in which she accused Brigitte Macron of assuming another woman’s identity and undergoing gender reassignment surgery.
“These claims are demonstrably false, and Owens knew they were false when she published them,” the lawsuit states. “Yet, she published them anyway. And the reason is clear: it is not the pursuit of truth, but the pursuit of fame.”
According to the filing, Owens continued to repeat the claims despite multiple requests from the Macrons’ legal team to retract them.

Macrons respond
In a statement accompanying the lawsuit, the Macrons said they were pursuing legal action to stop what they called a deliberate campaign of harassment.
“Ms. Owens’ campaign of defamation was plainly designed to harass and cause pain to us and our families and to garner attention and notoriety,” their lawyers wrote. “We gave her every opportunity to back away from these claims, but she refused. It is our earnest hope that this lawsuit will set the record straight and end this campaign of defamation once and for all.”
As the accusations escalate, Owens’ claims remain unverified, and no official confirmation has been released by US authorities. Meanwhile, speculation around her show’s sudden pause continues, raising questions about whether the controversy will impact her media presence going forward.

Elon Musk’s $1 trillion Tesla pay package approved — could make him world’s first trillionaire
Tesla shareholders overwhelmingly back a record-breaking compensation deal for CEO Elon Musk, cementing his control over the EV giant and setting the stage for an unprecedented $1 trillion payout.
Elon Musk is officially one step closer to becoming the world’s first trillionaire. At Tesla’s annual shareholder meeting on November 6, investors approved a massive $1 trillion pay package for the billionaire CEO — a vote of confidence that could redefine executive compensation forever.
According to CNN, over 75% of Tesla shareholders supported the compensation plan, excluding Musk’s own 15% stake in the company. “I super appreciate it,” Musk told an enthusiastic crowd as cheers erupted during the meeting.
The $1 trillion plan
Musk, who doesn’t draw a salary from Tesla, will receive the compensation entirely in stock grants — approximately 423.7 million shares distributed over the next decade. The payout will be tied to a series of performance milestones, including Tesla’s market valuation climbing in $500 billion increments and reaching a total of $8.5 trillion, along with key production and operational targets.

The plan mirrors the structure of Musk’s 2018 compensation deal, which transformed him into the richest person alive when Tesla’s stock price soared.
If all targets are met, the package could make Musk not only the first trillionaire, but also the most highly compensated CEO in corporate history.
Investor confidence — and colossal expectations
The Washington Post described the vote as a “show of faith” in Musk’s leadership at a time when Tesla faces intensifying competition in the EV market and slowing growth.
Under the approved plan, Musk earns an additional 1% of Tesla’s shares for every $500 billion increase in the company’s market capitalization — a structure that directly ties his fortune to Tesla’s success.
For the company to hit the $8.5 trillion mark, its current valuation would need to rise by over 460% from today’s levels — a target that would make Tesla worth more than Apple and Nvidia combined.
Last week, Nvidia became the world’s most valuable company, crossing a $5 trillion market cap, highlighting the race for dominance among tech-driven giants.
Why it matters
If shareholders had voted against the pay package, it could have triggered a leadership crisis at Tesla. Musk had reportedly indicated he might step back from his role if he wasn’t granted additional control — a move that the board suggested could destabilize the company’s vision and innovation pipeline.
In a filing, Tesla’s board said, “Elon’s leadership has been instrumental in making Tesla what it is today. This package reflects both his contribution and our confidence in his future impact.”

The road ahead
Musk’s fortune, currently estimated by Forbes at $491.4 billion, could soar if Tesla achieves its ambitious growth milestones, especially with upcoming projects like the Cybertruck, the Tesla Robotaxi, and advancements in AI-driven manufacturing.
However, skeptics warn that such an aggressive valuation target might create unrealistic expectations in a volatile global market.
Still, for shareholders, the vote marks a defining moment — a reaffirmation of trust in Musk’s ability to push Tesla toward new technological frontiers.
“This is not just a pay package,” one analyst said. “It’s a bet on Musk’s capacity to turn science fiction into business reality.”
