Pamela Anderson’s Bold No-Makeup Met Gala Look Sparks Buzz: You Have To Challenge Beauty Sometimes
The 57-year-old icon stuns fans again by flaunting fresh skin, micro bangs, and a dazzling Tory Burch gown at the 2025 Met Gala — alongside her son.
When it comes to redefining red carpet beauty, Pamela Anderson is in a league of her own — and last night’s Met Gala was proof yet again.
The former Baywatch star turned heads at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, not for bold lipstick or dramatic eyeshadow, but for skipping makeup entirely. Draped in a shimmering ice-blue Tory Burch silk gown and adorned with 24 carats of repurposed, lab-grown diamonds by Pandora, Anderson made it clear: natural glam is her new signature.
By her side was her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, who beamed with pride as his mother floated up the iconic steps. But it was Pamela’s fresh skin and chic new bob with baby bangs that had the cameras snapping nonstop.
This isn’t the first time Anderson has abandoned heavy glam in favor of an au naturel look. In an interview with Vogue France back in 2023, she confessed that her mother’s advice had changed her beauty perspective forever. “At some point in your life, you’re not going to want to wear makeup on your skin,” Pamela shared. “She’s right. You have to challenge beauty sometimes.”

And challenge it she did — flawlessly. Fans and fashion critics alike praised the 57-year-old for embracing authenticity in an era where contour kits and filters reign supreme. The lab-grown diamonds in her custom Pandora pieces — cleverly reworked from her 2024 Met Gala look — also struck a chord with the gala’s push toward sustainability and thoughtful design.
This year’s Met Gala theme honored the rich history and influence of Black menswear, inspired by the tradition of the “Black dandy.” While the dress code leaned into tailored elegance, Anderson’s minimalist yet ethereal approach stood out as a quiet, powerful statement.
As flashbulbs flickered and celebrities arrived in towering heels and dramatic trains, Pamela Anderson reminded the world that sometimes, less really is more — and that true beauty needs no filter.
